Ode to a dog

As I think about the conscious living things on this planet. I think of the immense amount of humans. Humans open their homes and hearts to dogs. Subsequently, there are an immense amount of dogs!

The bond between dogs and humans is beautiful!
The simple act of feeding a dog is returned with obedience and protection.
Through this exchange, love forms, offering each other companionship.

Humans can be cold and judgmental toward one another creating a desire for a relationship that is free of this. This relationship is achieved with a dog.

Dogs have greater needs for getting into nature, even if it is only to be let out to go to the bathroom. Dogs get humans back into nature through walks, dog parks, and camping. Considering the removal of nature from most human lifestyles, dogs help to maintain an invaluable connection to nature.

Adventuring through the woods with a dog at my side is a joy that is indescribable and best understood through experience.

Dogs are another set of eyes on the world around you, offering you another set of eyes to view the world.

Dogs have a rightful place in a human's life as companions, scouts, protectors, and lovers.
