Religion Corp.
How it was made
I took my dirty paint water and spread it across my blank canvas attempting to outline a forest scene. After making my way across the entire canvas I began to see shapes that stood out in the marks that were made. With a Sharpie I outlined each of the items I saw. As I painted the meaning of the piece came to me. The name came as I saw religion in a light that painted them as the oldest crooked company known to man.
Subtle Notes
Ladders- instability, great heights, uncertainty. My first job involved a lot of ladders, they became the easiest way to hurt myself.
Portals- speaking to the unexplained, gateways to another world as various things join in the great clamor that is taking place. To add an element of irationality
