South Carolina Stops
Camping
We stopped in at a campsite in the National Park, we were the only ones in the whole site and took advantage of it! We flew the drone all around the site polishing up our skills. While we hung out on the top of the roof we set in motion our future podcast called Elevated Thinkers. Click the link if you wish to know more
The camping was very needed having spent nearly 2 months living in a house in Tallahassee. We rejoiced being among the trees, wild life, and campfires that we had missed out on. We took all of the nature trails in the area and made a few more of our own.
Abandon House
While adventuring nearby to our camp we stumbled upon a house that was abandoned by humans and a family of vultures moved in. The house looked as though it had been left for several years, we saw plants growing all around it. The front door was kicked and much of the belongings were scatted. It was clear that we were not the first explorers. While we explored there was this unknown shriek that would occur periodically.
We became aware that it was coming from the dark hallway where there was this shapeless furry thing that was curled up at the end of the hall. As Ethan approached the noise got louder and a vulture flew up to perch in an open window just as Ethan had gotten close. It dawned on us both that this was a baby vulture, sure enough by peaking into the rooms of the hall there was the rest of the family of vultures.
